Unspoken Silence

Title
Unspoken Silence
Artist
Jolanta Anna Karolska
Medium
Digital Art - Alcohol Inks
Description
Digitally re-mastered abstract, graphic design based on a fragment of my original alcohol ink painting portraying fragmented, geometrically distorted shapes and flowing waves in hues of turquoise, cerulean, green, gold, black, white, blue, purple, and red.
This abstract design expresses silence and tranquil stillness. This type of art often communicates a sense of calm, peacefulness, or serenity, and can evoke a range of emotions and moods in the viewer. The use of unspoken silence in the art can be used to create a contemplative or introspective atmosphere, or to communicate a sense of emptiness, stillness, or loss and can be particularly impactful and thought-provoking, as it invites the viewer to reflect on the meaning of silence and its role in our lives.

Oh, Bijan...this is like music to my ears...thank you so much for sharing such a profound and thought-provoking comment, inspired by the wisdom of Rumi...his poetry holds a special place in my heart..and I am honoured that my art prompted such contemplation...sending good vibes your way :)

This lovely artwork and the description that goes with it remind me of a statement by the Persian poet and mystic Molana Rumi. He wrote, "SILENCE IS THE LANGUAGE OF GOD. ALL ELSE IS POOR TRANSLATION." The German mystic Meister Eckhart echoed that universal truth when he wrote, "NOTHING IS MORE LIKE GOD THAN SILENCE." Experiencing the presence of THE INEFFABLE in silence is the most precious gift that is freely available to anybody. Sadly, very few, if any, will ever accept it because we're bedazzled and mesmerized by the trappings and the dross of this world.

Awesome colors and flowing layers of ink! I almost envision a topographical map, or contour farming, or....even a dancer hurrying off stage, her brilliant costume trailing! F/L+++ Bravo, Jolanta!
