Description
Daffodil Delight is a semi-abstract painting that captures the essence of a single daffodil in a burst of vibrant colours. The focal point of the composition is a solitary daffodil, elegantly stretching its petals towards the heavens. The flower is rendered in shades of yellow, orange, and red, creating a stunning gradient that mimics the natural play of sunlight on its delicate surface.
The design of the painting infuses a sense of dynamism and energy into the artwork. The daffodil's form is hinted at rather than precisely defined, allowing the viewer's imagination to dance with the fluid shapes and lines.
Intricate digital twists enhance the traditional watercolour base, creating a fusion of the analogue and digital worlds. The green hues, reminiscent of the daffodil's stem and leaves, intertwine with the vibrant petals, suggesting the interconnectedness of nature and technology. The digital elements introduce subtle glimmers and luminous effects, giving the impression that the daffodil is glowing with an inner light.
Splashes of watercolour and digital strokes evoke a sense of spontaneity, adding to the overall dynamic and expressive quality of the piece.
A digitally re-mastered version of my original painting - watercolour on paper.

yes, like Issie said: like stained glass. I love the detail here too, not just thrown down on a piece of paper and covered with splashes of runny watercolor, but a distinct design with total beauty..... lol, I am on a roll today, haha.....(sis, you should see what I posted on issie's latest...) xox
